Im trying to breed bloodfin tetra, and i have them in a 10 gallon with plants and an open area. I also have all the lights off and the blinds open so the environment is as natural as possible. im VERY open for suggestions. Comments >>

Sick male platy

I have two male platies and one wants to mate with my two female platies but I think he has Ick!!!I'm almmost 100% sure he has already mated with my twin bar platy. Now he is chasing around the other female, but she swims away really fast. Do you think he will get to mate with her?? And will the disease spread? If it does will you tell me so I can put the other male platy that doesn't have ick in the breeding tank!! Please help I'm not sure what to do!! Thanks (1 comment) Comments >>

PREGNANT MOLLIES

I have 2 heavily pregnant mollies and a guppy that are all about to pop.  I only have two breeding nets.  I don't like the option of letting them all hide in the tank considering I have some tetras and some angelfish.  I was wondering if I should put the to mollies together in a net or the guppy and a mollie or whatever.  They are about to pop and I'm going over to my friends house for the night and most of the day tomorrow!! I have three platies, one male two female. And three swordtails, one male and two female. They are not showing intrest in each other. Is there any way we can encourage them to get jiggy with it!!!!! I have them in a 10 gallon with a medium temperature with several plants and decorations. Today I fed them live food, but that didn't seem to help at all. Good bye for now!!!!! I got live shrimp from my LFS. and i left them in a bin of water overnight. I think they bred because theyres a lot more.  Some of them have little brown dots by their butts. Are those eggs? and if they are how long do they take to hatch. Thanx bye (1 comment) Comments >>

I didnt realize my molly was that close to birth.  So i left her in the tank overnight. And of course that night she had her fry. Ive been waiting for those fry for a long time!  I only found one but she had aleast 15. IM SO MAd AT MYSELF (4 comments) Comments >>

I fed my fish this morning like I usually do(freeze dried). And I went up in my room a couple hours later just to see what they were up to because I am treating my tank of ick. And I saw these little brown inch worm like things floating on the sides. I figured they were uneatin food but I didn't really look like it, but I did take a cup and scoop them out.
