Tank Levels

How many guppies?

In my 29 gallon tank I have five male guppies so far. I was wondering how many more fish, most likely more guppies or around that size, do you think I would be able to put in there? I am not planning on breeding and it has to be a non-aggressive tank because of my guppies. I have heard of the one inch per fish, but I have also heard that you should not go by that rule. Good and Bad News

Well the bad news is that one of my guppies died from swimming into a net holding filtering stuff from my 60 gallon to help with the good bacteria, and I guess he couldn't get out, and so he couldn't eat. The good news is that I got a butterfly pleco as a present from my parents and I named it Crickett. He's very scared of me, but the guppies don't seem to bother him.
