The mother finally past away as a 2 & 1/2 year old albino molly, there is 9 female babies and 1 male.

The male has gotten all the females pregnant so i should have an over load of albinos soon. One of the females had a bad case of popeye so she is now blind in one eye, it took 4 weeks to treat it because it just kept getting worse. I still have one adult albino molly but it is in no relation to the babies, but it is half lyretail so i still have a chance at getting some nice lyretails.

Are your mollies albino or silver? Or are albino mollies also called silver mollies?

I have a silver sailfin molly male and in the tank at the store next to them were some silver sailfin lyretail mollies. The sailfin/lyretails were almost $10 a piece compared to the $3 for the silver sailfins.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your female. Fortunately she left some little ones for you.
I think I need to get some more mollies. I have 2 Yucatan females but from what I've read they are a rare species so I need to get them into their own species only tank and get my silver male some "proper" wives :)Plus the yucatan's need more salt in their water than my gourami's could handle. But I do have 2 baby yucatan's in my big tank.

Good luck on your molly breedings.

They are red eyed, yellow whitish scaled albinos, the real deal. Turns out ive got a popeye break out in my tank, theres 4 mollies that have it. Today i went to the pet store i got 2 swordtails and 4 platies, somehow a red lyretail male swordtail got mixed in with the regular reds and it got to the pet store so i bought it, my other red wag male tried to become dominant and tear up the others fin but before he could i moved him into the baby tank/albino molly tank. All of the platies i got were female, one was just as pregnant as the other one that i have had for a few months now so i had to put it in another breeder box, i also got a female neon mickeymouse sword tail to go with the regular neon i have. I still have that weird molly guppy cross breed thing, i has so many defects but a weird way of getting females. My hi-fin male platy died a few days ago so now all i have is 4 male plumetails, and one variatus.right now i have 9, 3 day old guppy babies they are getting big very fast. The baby tank should soon be filled with platies because theres going to be a big spawn soon from 2 giant females, then the other should give birth in about 1 week to 2 weeks.
