Sadly, these guppies are taking up too much money.

Therefore, I have to give up on them, and guppylog, until I have more money. Farewell, fellow Guppyloggers!

That's too bad, but it's also smart to stop with guppies if you take care of them. I guess see if your local petstore will take them, just please don't flush them:)

If you really can't keep up with your guppies needs it would be best to get rid of them. But, like unclescott said please don't flush them. You can sell/give them to a friend or a petstore. Or you can try your luck selling them online like a http://www.aquabid.com/ or http://www.ebay.com/. Anyway best of luck!!! :)

mind my asking, what is particularly expensive right now about the guppies. Is it really a matter of money or is it of time or the effort of learning about the proper care of guppies? I'm not disagreeing with you about expense in all three of those areas, but sometimes there are some workarounds.

I think that it is important, especially for women, to keep a certain amount of anonymity on the Net. But, in a general sense, where do you live? For instance I live in the southern 'burgs of Chicagoland. Might you live in greater Pittsburgh or the NY city area type of thing?

And while I would try and persuade you to stay with your guppies, if you don't what will you do with them? Please say that you will not flush them.
