Just thought you guys would like to know (heck you probably already do but i'm too lazy to find out!), the conversion from US gallon to Litres is a bit out of wack.

Try converting say, 10 US Gallons to Litres, then press convert Litres, and you magically lose almost 2 gallons!
As I already said, you probably already know this, but if you don't please fix it.

liters and convert gallons like tennis and one can end up with almost nothing. Sort of like some tax, gambling and investment situations. ;)

The compiler of that conversions tool, miskairal, also helps us get the Google search and started the Immediate Help links. She's very busy with other projects on the Net and in Oz (Australia) and I haven't heard from her in ages. A number of Guppylog veterans really appreciated her enthusiasm, helpfulness, common sense and good cheer. I haven't heard from her since last year.

There are undoubtedly others who could do the Java script work needed. But there may be other priorities for them.

I do appreciate the warning. So far just using the conversions has worked for everyone. Just don't reverse engineer everything. :)

If you are uncomfortable with the GL conversion page, Google (naturally) offers a lot of sites which do conversions. The Conversion Calculator http://www.infoplease.com/pages/unitconversion.html
is one I have found very useful.

That you have found how reversing calculations skews things and that I have found how to whittle away a figure to oblivion suggests that we have too much time. ;)

I'd better go change water.
