This is kind of a question directed to unclescott, but any one can answer.

| I was just wondering unclescott were did you get those butterfly goodieds that you where talking about earlier. I have never even heard of them before. I've also never seen them either. I was wondering because I would love to get my hands on a few of those. Some of the cooliest fish are like impossible to find these days. Any way I'll make sure to keep an extra eye out for them. Anyway if I do find them are they the kind that need a ratio of 1male:2-4females. I read that it takes them 6-9 weeks for the babies to come out. Double of a guppy. That's probably why they are born so big though. I also read that females feed their babies inside of them. Does this mean they have an umbilical cord? How many babies on averge? What's a good temp. to keep them at? Are they omnivores? How big do they get? Do males have the typical gonopodium? When are they adults? What would the minimum tank size be? Any tips or tricks to keeping them? Are they pretty hardy? Are there different forms? I mean like the snake-skin guppy and a HB pastel guppy. Are they wild caught? Are they jumpers? Do they like fast water? Do they need super clean water? Do they like alot of plants? Do they eat their babies? What are some good tank mates? What other additional information can you give me? |
