Man are fish hard to photograph.
Anyway here are the clickables to look at some of my fish. The first ones here are the "silver bullet" dudes http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/1678/fishy1wv4.jpg Very pretty little fish in my opinion.
The next pic is my little red and white dude. I call him Red Rover because he's all over the tank. Plus he's red. Red is in the bottom left corner the other big fish is my male swordtail Sammy and then a couple more gupps. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/9301/redroverwg2.jpg
And here's Red and the "silver bullets" with Princess Pat in the background http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/6220/redroverandsilverbulletyn8.jpg
Here's Sammy Swordtail and a couple of his fishy friends. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7046/sammyswordtailqb1.jpg
And here is a corner view of The Beast. My 75 gallon tank. http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/5690/thebeastfc5.jpg
And here is a 2 minute video of my tank. Mostly of my silver bullets and the search for them. Please ignore the voice commenting on what you are viewing. That's just me. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3386223707372249987
Any questions feel free to ask.
This is just in my Beast tank. I still have 2 10 gallon tanks currently full of female guppies. One contains my pregnant Mommas (8 of them) and the other is way over crowded with about 30 2-4 month old female guppies (guaranteed virgins if anyone wants them. Just pay shipping. To contact me just make the e-mail address in my replies look like a normal address and your set.)
The two 10 gallon tanks get every-other-day 2 gallon water changes and the Beast gets 25% (15 gallon) water changes every 3-4 days.
Well That's about it for my fish. No one has died in a few months and no new additions, except fry, since the swordtails and mollies at least 2 months ago. My tanks pretty much run themselves.
For anyone having trouble getting tanks up and running the only thing that I can suggest is e-o-d water changes and time. I started my first tank over a year ago and without finding this site I'd have given up a long time ago. But well running tanks are definately things of beauty.
I have been doing babysitting for my neighbors and fishtanks are almost better at entertaining children than the TV is. My now 10 year old daughter is becoming useful in tending the siphon and bucket while I multi task during water changes. If I can only get her to remember that when the bucket gets full you remove the end of the siphon from the tank and not pull the other end from the bucket of water before stopping the flow of water. And my 4 year old is my official fish namer and fry hunter. Oh and the one who's finger prints I have to constantly wipe off the front of all of my tanks.
Well It's getting later here tonight and my Hubby is getting the kids all riled up so I need to get them off to bed. Enjoy the pictures and video. And have a great day/evening Y'all......
