well it is mind baffling. can someone please tell me why after almost four months of having 4m and 4f gup's with one gold fish and three rasboras non of my females got prgnant.

then when they looked pregnant they died. they started dying in the last month as it says in another log. but any way why didnt they mate within four months of being in the same tank. can someone please tell me what i can do to guarantee fry. i have to buy new guppy's now because my other ones died and now i dont have none. NEED FRY HELP ME PLEASE. i have a five ten and twenty gallon tank. only the ten is set up but when a female is ready to drop i set up my five gallon as a nursery for the fry. i have six gallons open contaner water ready for the tank.

For right now search Immediate Help and find angelhologram's Fishless cycling article. Start cycling the 20 gallon tank you have. Once that's cycled go get one male guppy and 2 female guppies. With plenty of plants (real or plastic) and some rock decorations you should have plenty of fry within a month or two. As long as only guppies go into the 20 gallon.

I have rasbora's and a couple goldfish and they along with the guppy parents and my neon tetra's and dwarf gourami's I have very few fry. Even with about 15-20 females.

Also before purchasing any more fish please make sure there is room for them in the tank. Oh and read Immediate Help. Especially tank set-up and breeding guppies (which should only be done if you have a never ending supply of people to take them or room for thousands of fish or are supplying a pet shop.
Before all else fails....do a 25% water change ;)

Big fish + small fry= no survivors
*BEFORE you buy fish make sure you understand what "Cycling" a tank means <- quoted from miskaral* ~Trying to make a difference one fish at a time~
