But then you'd probably have to re-mortgage the house to buy some zebra plecos.

Always do a search or go to someplace like planetcatfish.com and check the dietary habits of any catfish (except for Corys) you wish to buy. Most suckermouths are vegetarian. But I have found both bristlenoses and Corys in spawning mops eating rainbowfish eggs. ;)

Dead fry and fish eggs will be taken by almost anything though.
