Guppies

OK, I know that I shouldnt post more than 1 diary per day, but I just remembered this. Plus, it deals with a problem almost all of us have, to many babies.

This is a simple little question. Will female bettas get along fine with guppies? And will they eat fry? I thought I could (I know it sounds very harsh, but its necessary) keep the fry population down by having a hungry betta around. Will that work?

i am not sure if they get along i dont know but when i had guppies and my female betta was with them i didnt see them fighting so maybe they would be okay together. but the female bettas do eat guppy fry.i noticed that my guppy is having babies because i seen the female betta chasing it.
