GUPPY FRY SURVIVAL

Hello,

I was reading the guppy story at this link: http://www.guppylog.com/story/2005/2/20/15155/6360

and my question is.. Currently I have a male and a female in a 5 gallon tank. (the other female died about 4 days ago. She never dropped any fry. :( ) and I am not around to watch their every move, so the one female I have in the tank now.... If she drops fry this afternoon, or whenever I'm not there, what is the chance of survival? I have hornwart plant in the aquarium, and it is loaded with gravel.

Any suggestions?  What would be the rate of survival of the fry?

Thanks,

Felix

i agree with both.  feed the parents and you will have fry.  starve them and get no fry in return.

Starve the adults, they will eat the fry.

See a ton of suggestions in Immediate Help in the first couple suggestions. The section title will tell you want to look for. :)

immediate help is right. take a look there.

also, it really depends on how many she were to drop.
