This aint that important, just a lil question about compatibility.

I have 1 male guppy, and 2 female guppies, on is pregnat. There pimpin' out in my 10 gallon tank with a Siamese Algae Eater. Just wondering what some good ideas for a couple for would be. Preferably (O! A big word!) a bottom feeder because I want my tank to stay mostly guppies. Actually, all guppies except the scavangers.
AND I HAVE TO ADMIT that I thought getting actually attached to your fish was really wierd, I wanted fish for decoration, but dont get me wrong I was going to and did take excellent care of them. Now Im getting attached to them like I am to my other pets, just not quite as much, because, well, there fish, you cant take them on walks and stuff. BUT! I like them all alot! And there showing there own personalities, sort of, especially my CAE A/K/A/ "Spaz"!

Ya, I know, I rambled pointlessly again!

The best "bottom feeder" for your tank (none / 0) (#1)
by unclescott on Wed May 31, 2006 at 09:12:29 PM PST

would be a gravel vacuum. Guppies feed from the bottom anyway and actually are pretty good scavangers. The algae eater (is it the so-called Chinese algae eater or the genuine SAE?) may need its own quarters within a year. On algae eaters see: http://www.thekrib.com/Fish/Algae-Eaters/

I'm beat and tired. You'll have to run your own diary through a spell checker tonight. That way old geezers will know what the current slang is, even if they don't know what it means. ;)

I say get rid of the slime sucker (a.k.a. algea eater) and get a snail. But then again I'm rather biased.

Spaz, my SAE, is really cool, I dont want to get rid of him, he shows lots of peronallity. Is there anyway I can lower his um..........aggresive-nis-issity?
