I'm an aunt!!

Not fish related but I had to share with my friends.

My new little nephew (who the ultrasound tech thought was a girl) was born April 2nd 2006 at 1:36AM. 8lbs 3 oz and 20 1/2 inches. I'm very happy! I finally have a baby that I can cuddle and spoil and then hand back to his mommy when he smells funny.

Congrats....

On March 31, 2006 My cousion had a baby boy at 7:01am 7 lb 1 oz 19 inch. And I was there to watch.

That's my husbands birthday. I have a cousin that lives a few houses away that was born on April 1st too. My sister was really glad that her son didn't have to share a birthday with any close relatives lol.

My Dad was born on the 14th Sept. My son (and his first grandchild) on the 14th Sept 50 years later. My niece (2nd grandchild) was due on the 1st Sept 5 years after that but didn't arrive and on about the 10th September they told my sister they would induce her on the 14th. She told them no way so my niece was born on the 13th :)

Oh aren't they just the best sort!

Congratulations and welcome to the world of aunthood. My experiences as an aunt with 2 nieces have been teaching them the birds and the bees (inescapable when you live on a farm and have goats and a little voice asking "What are they dooooing?") and playing referee between my sister and daughters now they are teens :)
