hee hee hee! 3 days until elizabeth drops!

barnabe left around 6 pm last night, and he is now in a 10 gal tank at guppies5's. last night when i checked in on him, he was doing fine with the guppies. i'm confident that if there was a companionship problem, we would have noticed fin nipping and such by now.

he is also a very small molly, and is just  barely larger than the guppies.

my tank is geared up and ready to except the babies. i've added a few fake plants for shelter, and the net breeder is constructed and sitting by the tank. the plants are just for until i find the babies, as i don't know how elizabeth will react. this is her first time dropping, and i don't know how cannibalistic she is. she seems pretty relaxed without barnabe. confused, but relaxed.

yesterday, guppies5 also helped me to get my fish to except the freeze dried blood worms i got them. before they wouldnt touch them. sometimes they would nibble them. or swallow them, but they always spit them out. now elizabeth readily excepts them.

in a couple hours, i'm also going to do a partial water change.

  i'm so excited!

turns out kassandra's corgi had a false pregnancy. hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

thanks, UC. it is pretty funny, though. guppies5 and i were saying how weird it would be if all of our pets had 6 babies, on the same day.

just finished my water change about a half hour ago.

i also remembered that i can alter the flow of my (water fall type) filter. my plan is to keep it on normal during the day, and during the evening/night put it on low. that way, if she drops during the night when i'm not around the itty bitty babies won't get sucked up.

and i fine crushed some flake food in a sandwhich baggie. i was crushing for an hour.

tomorrow will be day 28, and i've read that mollies usually go on 28, 29, or 30. my freind Kassandra is also expecting a birth soon, but this time her dog is having puppies. her corgi should be having puppies today or tomorrow. her temperature has dropped to 98. guppies5 also beleives her female is  close.
