barnabe left around 6 pm last night, and he is now in a 10 gal tank at guppies5's. last night when i checked in on him, he was doing fine with the guppies. i'm confident that if there was a companionship problem, we would have noticed fin nipping and such by now.
he is also a very small molly, and is just barely larger than the guppies.
my tank is geared up and ready to except the babies. i've added a few fake plants for shelter, and the net breeder is constructed and sitting by the tank. the plants are just for until i find the babies, as i don't know how elizabeth will react. this is her first time dropping, and i don't know how cannibalistic she is. she seems pretty relaxed without barnabe. confused, but relaxed.
yesterday, guppies5 also helped me to get my fish to except the freeze dried blood worms i got them. before they wouldnt touch them. sometimes they would nibble them. or swallow them, but they always spit them out. now elizabeth readily excepts them.
in a couple hours, i'm also going to do a partial water change.
i'm so excited!
