Anyway, yes you have posted this in the right place. This is not the common php BB but a scoop forum. If you Post a log entry it has to wait for votes from the rest of us before it will appear on the Front page. Therefore those sort of entries should be kept for interesting things that are of some importance whether it be information being provided to us or asking a question that has not been asked a thousand times before.

"Diary" section is really not an apt name. It should be called "Ramblings" because that's about what the majority of it seems to contain these days. In this section though, you can post whatever you like but we prefer to not see profanity b/c of the number of kids that visit here.

Regardless of where you post an entry if you reply to something old it won't get "bumped" up to the top of the page so it's often best to start a whole new entry and maybe refer back with a link to the one you might be talking about.

This is not a huge forum but you will find just as much info here as anywhere and generally you won't get flamed in the process.
