Nothing much to report but I went and got a new 2 gal tank for the fry.  I only have 6 left so I needed to move them.

I put them in their own tank last night and I still have 6 today.  I think the little fry were getting by my tank divider and getting eaten by the bigger fish.  So I moved them to a new tank.

I should be getting a bigger 20 gal tank in a few days.  I think it will be better on all of the fish.

My female guppy (Sassy) is picking on my 2 gold fish and I don't know why.  She looks like she is trying to eat the scales off.  I have other fish in the tank; she leaves them alone.  I have a tetra that she likes to chase around but she never trys to eat it.  I don't know what she is doing, but I hope that she will not kill them.  Anyone that reads this if you have any ideas please let me know.  I really don't want her to kill my gold fish and I don't think my kids would be to happy.

Do you mean goldfish as in the type of fish or gold fish as in color?

Goldfish. I have a gold and white one then a white one.  But when I got it at the pet store she told me they were goldfish.
Happy fish keeping :-)

You shouldn't have goldfish in with your guppies. Goldfish are "dirty" fish and pollute the water more. The normal rule of thumb with Tropicals is a gallon of water per inch of fish. With goldfish that rule is changed, depending on who you talk to, to either 5 or 10 gallons of water per inch of fish. I've found they are best in 10gals per inch.

Thank you.  I am trying to come up with something to do with my goldfish.  But I just can't get rid of them because they are my kids and I don't have another tank.

So right now I am kinda stuck.  But I am working on it now.
Happy fish keeping :-)
