Sorry guys and girls but it's been too hot to do anything here the last few days.

As I mentioned in another post, it was 38°c (100.4F) in our house today and it's now 6.30pm and 34°c. My fingers stick to the keyboard and I've just got to have a beer. I won't try anything new with this heat 'coz if I stuff it up I won't have the patience to repair it.

My tanks are all downstairs which is partly subterranean and much cooler but they are still all on about 30°c.

I had a shower last night and forgot that we'd changed over to another tank where the pipe runs along the top of the ground to the house (until it rains again and the ground is soft enough to dig) and the water coming out the cold tap alone was too hot to stand under.

So I haven't forgotten, ok.
Can you all do some rain dances or something too please as it's been more than 2 months now. The local dam that provides water to many towns and all the farms is down to about 11% and it is said that it holds as much water as Sydney Harbour when full (1995 was the last time that happened).

Cheerio

I think what you have up right now is great. I think that everyone appreciates how much time it can take to sort something like that out, and for those of us that couldn't do it ourselves, we appreciate that you can! Hope you get some rain soon! Wish I could send some of ours your way, we are almost breaking rain records here. We were one day off of the most days of rain in January. Feast or famine hey!

Cheers!
