Well, I've been sick the past few weeks and just got back from the hospital.

It turns out I have a kidney infection, kidney stones, and the beginning of apendicitis. If any of my posts or private e-mails lately have seemed strange, not well thought out, or just plain b!tchy I'm very sorry. I've been rather out of sorts. I'm on antibiotics now and thankfully the problem with my appendix was caught (by accident when doing an ultrasound of my kidneys) early enough that I don't have to have surgery. I should be myself again within the week.

I hope you get better asap.  Perhaps some salt in your tank water?

Actually, the Dr did prescribe "frequent water changes". I should have just as Unc and saved a whle lot of $ lol.
Gota go back later this week for another unltrasound of the appendix. I'm crossing my fingers they were incorrect about the "possible slight inlargement". From what I now understand surgery may still be in my future.

Oh, ouch,

I'm diabetic and am plagued with UTI (urinary tract infections) so I'm with you.

When I don't feel well, I'm like a hibernating bear that someone woke early.

Take care of yourself and count your blessings they found the appendix before it got worse.

God bless,

G ma

Wow! The good news is that what was wrong seems (none / 0) (#5)

to be coming to light as the medical people take a look at you. I know sometimes it seems like when tests start the folks in their financial departments start giving each other high-fives, but tests can be so important.

And it is so important for us to get ourselves checked when we suspect something is wrong. We lost a good friend (in his mid-50s) when the cancer which had gone into remission flared up suddenly again. And the really frustrating thing is that it was one which is more easily dealt with - if caught in time.

"Another warrenty running out" is sort of a joke, more often tossed out as one grows older. When we are teenagers or in our early 20s we feel like we will live forever. But that warrenty breakdown does start sooner than we realize. ;)

As G Ma said, Good Bless indeed!
