I just might!

All the male fry have now started showing their true colors, I've been waiting for this point so I could pick out my fancies from my feeders (remember they got mixed up in the beginning because all my tanks were sick. I was so shocked to realize that I have not even one male fancy! When I went back and did the math (with the help of my posts on GL) the numbers actually do add up, every single fry my fancies has dropped has been female. I really do hope I get one from this next drop or I'm going to have to go buy one and I don't like the idea of introducing new fish to my finally disease free and perfectly stabilized tank. I seem to have some of the strangest luck in the world. Did I mention my computer being down a week or so ago because of an electrical storm? Did I also mention we have a big black spot in our backyard from where lightning hit? I swear when I die it's going to be because a wing falls off an airplane and drops down and splatters me lol.

wow! isn't that interesting!  And so strange!  usually it is half and half with getting males and females.  Well, I hope your luck turns around then!  Well, how old are your new fry??? Maybe there will be some males that will suddently get colors!

If you need to buy one, definantly make sure that the tank you get it out of has other healthy fish....none      or sick looking.  A healthy male should have nice clear looking lips, he should not be overweight, and slightly on the thin side....with bright bold colors and his fins should be out and full.  Good luck to you!!!
