Where the fry came from.

 I guess "Squiggles" wasn't sterile after all, you just couldn't tell she was pregnant because of the spinal deformity. At least that's the only thing I can think of becusue when we came back last night there still wer no more new fry and the other 3 females are still pregnant. The sad news is that I also found "Squiggles" stuck to the filter, she was such a trooper through all those hardships but if there is a fishy heaven I'm sure that's where she is. It was really getting hard for her to swim because of her back and it looked like it hurt, I'm glad she's at peace now and I have some babies from her, let's just hope it didn't damage her DNA so much that she passed it on to her kids.

Let us know how the fry turn out. The deformity might be something that happened in utero and not passed on hopefully.

Ohhh. I just glanced over and see that one of my two oldest males is dead. He's the one that's been hanging out on top of the internal filter for about a week. He was a beautiful dark purple.
