Feeling blue ;)

My first fry was born at December 1st. Only one survived, and he (yes, it's a boy!) lives in the 56 liter-tank.

Since this week the boy is becoming a man! First I noticed a shade of blue (he is born dark grey). Yesterday I saw a black dot on his tail. And today the blue became more intense!

It's a bright kind of blue, very beautiful! It's a pity I can't take a pic, because he moves so fast...

I haven't had any luck with the blues. I never had blues to start with but several have appeared throught the batches of fry. I now have only one left as a gorgeous one died this morning - he had like silvery blue all done his back.

Wherever my blues came from, it must have been a weak strain or something because they seem to get to a certain size, get dropsy and die. Big shame b/c I particularly like them. My blacks/purples seem strongest.

Oops... That sounds bad... I hope this won't happen with my blue one, and of course I hope you'll have better blue guppys soon!
