Got a big favour to ask

I've been spending hours reading here at GL - it's amazing how each time I do this I find more old stuff I don't recall from last time.

What I'm wondering is...(dont' yell at me will you?) if any of you remember any entries you posted where you asked a question and got a suggestion - if you tried the suggestion, can you go back to the entry and tell us if it worked or not or if it turned out to be correct????

Please, I'm not having a go at anyone because many of the entries are by people I haven't seen back here but it would really be a big help to me (and others I hope) if we find out if something worked before we waste our time and guppies health trying something that might not work.

I hope you know what I mean - my brain is all addled from all the reading :)
