Distended Abdomens in Otherwise Normal Guppies

Some of my guppies have distended abdomens, as though they are fat. They act normally otherwise -- and note, they are MALE, so they aren't pregnant. I'd like to know if anyone has seen this before, and what causes it. It's happened in both my own raised fish, and in some I've purchased. Other males in the tank don't look this way. I have photos. If there is a way to upload or add a link so you can see them, please let me know, or I can email the jpegs to anyone who might be able to help. Thanks much!
