wow, its been a while.
since last i posted, my two tequila females died (or maybe i already said that) and until today, my community tank was the bachelor tank, with only my two males.

today, i splurged on the little fella's, whom i have finally named, Tequila Mockingbird, and Flaming Blue Jesus. i bought them some badly needed parasite clear, which i treated with today, and intend to treat again tuesday, a heater, which up until now i had never had, a thermometer, and, best of all, four new females. my LPS had gotten a new shipment since i last went in, and they actually had some nice looking females. i got a tuxedo female, whose a big girl, a clear one, with a touch of yellow in her tail, and two with different yellow snakeskin patterns on their tail... quite lovely...i decided to give up on the pure strain thing i guess....

well, my Airedale Mason and i walked downtown to get them, for a little excersise, and so when i got home, they had been in their bag for a while, and probably were a bit stressed. so i put them in a little quarantine tank, so i could treat the community tank, and i guess one of the girls stress dropped. which i didnt notice. so im treating everything, getting the heater set up, all that good stuff, and then, like two hour later, i noticed in the little tank they had been in, there were two little fry. luckily i hadnt dumped out the tank, as i had intended to do, and so i began the great hunt that always takes place when searching for fry....i found 8 in all, which i thought was pretty lucky, concidering i had had them in a .5 gallon tank, with four big mamas, and no plants, and minimal gravel. so all is good. i went from 2 guppies to 15 guppies today, and proud of it.

have a good day everyone,

Hey arts, maybe this is a good omen. Maybe everything will go well now.

Good Luck!
