     I was meandering the net and discovered an article and research report by Biotech on the subject.
     It seems that the more ornamental males also had a significantly higher sperm count than their more drab counterparts. Natural selection has a plan.  If two males inseminate a female, the results also indicated that there was evidence of second male sperm precedence in the fry.  So, if an accidental mating occurs, there is still hope.
     Another interesting finding was that females can effectively eject sperm from an undesirable male.  This one floored me.  Such cryptic forms of female choice result in intriguing questions that render further investigation.  :)
