Breeding

I have two pregnant fish. A sunburst wag platy, and a balloon molly.

How do I know when they are about to give birth? They look pretty big, and it's been about a month since I've gotten them. Is there any way to tell when they are about to go into labor? I put them in a breeder just for safety, but I don't want to keep them locked in they're not going to give birth for another week or whatever. Help?
