Yesterday I called my LFS because I had some guppy fry that were finally ready for adoption. She was glad to take them off my hands so I grabbed my plastic tank and off I went.

| When I got there she was helping another customer, so I did the usual walkaround the tanks. This LFS has 2 floors worth of tanks, so you can imagine how one could get lost just watching all the fish go by. As I passed by the guppy tanks (yes, they mostly separate their sexes) I noticed that the guppies she had were drab compared to mine. They were mostly of 1 color, whether black or dark blue. I was not impressed. But I must say that once she saw the 7 I was giving her, she told me that she had the perfect place for them. I followed her to a 40 gallon show tank and she lifted the lid and in they went. My guppies are now modelling a tank at the LFS! And the lighting in the tank was terrific. The hb blues and my 1 red (grandson to my oddball) looked almost florescent. It feels so great to have all that hard work pay off. She loved them and cannot wait for my 20+ to be ready for adoption as well. As a matter of fact, neither can I. |
