Hello everyone. I was just looking at my pregnant red platy and I noticed that her fins were bent. It almost looked like she didn't have any fins on the top or bottom of her. She looks really slim but always eats and she stays by the heater. Any ideas on what the problem is? If so how can I treat it or can I? Thanks

josh

It says josh in my book that fins clenched against the fishes body is a disease. I doesnt say what kind of disease but it is one. You should ask petland or any other pet store what is a good treatment for this disease. I hope this helps.

Good Luck;)

Classic sign of a sick fish.  I agree with US.  Check and see what other kinds of symptoms your fish develop and get back to us.  COuld be a lot of things..  Let us know.
