How exciting it is to see my guppy give birth!!

I am happy to say that I was able to actually see one of my female guppies give birth last night at 8:30pm.  It was truly exciting, let alone interesting.
And the best part of it was, that I was able to rescue 12 fry from this delivery.  I'm guessing that I lost about 6 to some hungry swordtails.

And prior to that, on Sunday, when I ventured home from my (trout) fishing trip with the hubbie, I realized that she had actually given birth to her first batch, but I was only able to save 2 fry from that delivery.

Since I have had guppies, this was my first time I was able to see her deliver.

I guess it had a lot to do with the fact that I am obsessed about my guppies and have actually just sat in front of my tank for hours just watching them.

Instead of turning the TV on when my son goes done for bed, I turn the light on the tank and sit.  It relaxing me and I am able to see how my fish behave.  =-)

I am not even done yet either.  I have two more females waiting to drop.  Geeze, I'm going to run out of room when this is all said and done.I am going to rund home during lunch today to see if I have more babies to rescue. =-O

As for TV, there isn't anything good on now a days anyways.  I hate those reality TV show that are currently on.  IMO, they are all STUPID and a waste of my free time.

When I do get to watch TV, it is always the Food Network or Law and Order.  But I would watch my fish first before any show.  =-)

you watch too much Emeril.  LOL =-) I used to love watching him, but he got very, very annoying after awhile by saying Bam, Bam  and "I don't know where you get your meat from, but mine don't come seasoned" all the time.  Arghh!!!
