months. I even tried getting rid of all privacy and security settings (briefly) in my Internet Options. Likewise I went to security settings and registered Aquarank as a site from which cookies should also be allowed.
I have had some trouble with anti-spam software - which I dumped because the cure was worse than the disease. I don't think though that was the connection with being unable to vote though.
Neither can I vote for Guppylog by directly going directly to Aquarank. I seem to remember being able to do that in the past. (A senior moment?)
Does their software disallow votes for names that appear rather frequently on a site?
Are there other regulars or occasional visitors from / to Guppylog who have problems voting?
Is there any way a "private citizen" can bring this to their attention?
Lacking that, Scott, could you forward parttimer's and my (and any additional) comments to them?
If they consistently don't allow active members of a site to vote, that may make a certain sense, though I would disagree with the rational. However, if that site just doesn't allow some people the chance to vote, they do have very serious issues as to the validity of their survey and ranking.
Thanks!
Scott D
