Female with Cotton Mouth

Well, my cute little female is still alive after 5 days of treatment for what I believe is cotton mouth.  She's been able to take in tiny tiny flakes and she's not attempting the brine shrimp.  Hopefully she's getting enough nutrition in her.  Her mouth does not look as swollen but I'm wondering if it ever goes back to normal.

But I'm gonna try Petco this weekend.  Weather has been pretty crappy and hubby's sick too.

What is in that anti-fungus medicine you are (none / 0) (#2)

applying? It will take a few days to a week at least to go away and heal. Unless there is damage to the jaw, young and middle aged fish should look just fine afterwards. :)

I used Fungus Cure from (none / 0) (#4)

aquarium pharmaceuticals.  I started it on Friday.  I put in 1 treatment that night, the 2nd on Sunday night and then I did a gravel syphon along with a water change and added the carbon to the filter.  The water is highlighter green.  I know it's normal with the medication but it still looks weird.  Should I try some type of antibiotic?

prior to treatment.  48 hours after the 2nd treatment I have to do a 25% water change and add the filter back in.

Golden Pearls from Ken's. They're available in VERY small sizes, and are a good substitute for brine shrimp. They're all the rage in Europe from what I understand. I've used them here to great success feeding fry.
