Traditional laundry day :):):)
Not here. My washer (or rather my hot water heater) and my dryer run off the same 30 amp circuit. So running my washer (and causing my hwh to kick in)and dryer at the same time runs the risk of tripping the breaker. Also running my dryer and stove run the risk of tripping my whole house. (I only have 100 amps coming in which is an upgrade from the original 60 when I bought the place. It's a little old mobile home for those who don't know.) So we have "do laundry on days when I don't have too much other electrical junk running". I normally toss a load in the wash at night and into the dryer in the morning before everyone is up.
As for drinking water I do know there are differences in them. Some just taste so nasty. My tap water (not really bad for health just really bad tasting)tastes better than some of it.
My fish seem to like it tho. except my Mom just down the street has trouble with her tetra's. They keep disappearing on her. She lost 3 this past weekend. My guess is the water is too hard. It may be too hard for her loaches (albino khuli's) as well. They tend to hang out at the top all the time.
My snails seem to be ok tho. I acquired a couple Mystery snails(my fish store has them). They are big and beautiful. I have one in each tank. Plus a spare tank to put them into alone if I decide to raise baby ones :) The one in the guppy tank seems to be doing a good number on the bad case of algae in there. And the one in the Beast is pretty mobile. I lost all my ghost shrimp when I treated for parasites a few weeks ago. So I got another handful and they're doing ok. I even have an egg carrying Momma ghost shrimp. Oh and the store will take guppies in trade as long as I bought my original one there. Which I did. Her two daughter's are dropping now as well. Guess I didn't remove her son from the tank soon enough. He's now swimming with the mollies, platties and gourami's in the Beast. Soon to be joined by possibly a few more non gravid spot fry.
Well I ahve one kid in bed and the other asleep on the couch (Thank goodness for playing outside in the sun :)So I need to get one into bed and have a nice relaxing night with my Hubby.
Before all else fails....do a 25% water change ;)
