Possibly. Does she look like someone shoved a box up her back end. They really do look square when they're close to dropping. At least some of them do.

How is she acting weird? The not eating is a pretty good sign she might have them soon. If she seems to be breathing a bit heavy and maybe a little restless that is good too. I have some who will rest near or on the bottom for a day or so before and then I have a couple who seem to be unable to be still. For lack of any place more to swim they go up and down in one of the corners.

Just keep watch. You'll soon learn their pre-delivery behavior. Also it is completly possible that she's a bit late with delivery. Has she had fry before? First time mothers seem to go between 8-12 weeks before a first drop. Water temperature plays a part in how long a pregnancy lasts too.

Good luck and check really well in the morning for little guppies.
Before all else fails....do a 25% water change ;)

Is shee trying to hide? That is actually a good (none / 0) (#2)

sign. :)

We don't want to move females much when they are very pregnant, but could you gently herd her into a small jar. Then (after drying your hands) take a flashlight and shine it through the jar and through the guppy. You should be able to see eggs and probably see developing baby guppies.

Please let us know what you see.

Thanks!
