1) Tank: 55 gallon with 80 gallon Bio-Wheel.

2) Temperature: 72 (was 74 earlier...need to watch heater as I wonder if it's broken, though light comes one...anyone know if Wal-Mart is open on Turkey Day?)

3) Ammonia: 0.5-1.

4) pH: 7.0-7.2...wow...it was low in the old setup, so I hope it stays there. :)

5) Fish behavior: Nine babies ranging in age of a few weeks to a few months, time almost equally split between playing and hanging around top, but maybe gasping at top a little more as day goes on...interesting how they hang at end of tank near my computer when I am here, but go to other end when I walk away.

6) Water color: Clear.

I just realized one of them is so light red that he/she is almost pink (too young to get sex yet)! Never seen that in a platy before! Kind of a pink-red-orange color with the black fins....REALLY cool.:) Sorry...just so excited to have my fish back again...of course, that means I'm not doing much of my work.;)

lost to the hobby. It is still around after being popukar decades ago. Naturally I can't recall the strain's name - yet.
