yes a fish called a florida flag fish eats all types of hair algae. How many water changes are you doing? How many gallons are you running? You only need to change the water once a month 25 to 50 % if you have live plants, the stuff in your water build up could be causing it, also a lot of light if you also have it close to a window could be doing that. But yes mollies eat algae and florida flag fish and you could find those fish at www.azgardens.com hope this helps
