so, is it like, 'not allowed' here to type in all caps or something??? but yeah, I'm happy. I need to start hatching some baby brine shrimp for them though.....and i have a question: it took my last batch of fry about 8 or nine months to fully get all of their colors, but I had given a friend four fish from the batch, and they got their colors within two weeks after going to her house. All she had was a simple small tank with a bubble maker and distilled water. It was in dim light most of the day, and I was wondering if the difference in conditions is what was making the four fish get their colors quicker than mine did.....

Typing in capitals is the same as yelling/shouting and usually reserved for anger. Many forums would simply delete a post written in all caps.

I just hate it because it's like drawing attention to yourself as if the person typing thinks what they've got to say is more important than what anyone else has to say. (I didn't think that with you, I knew you were just excited)

It's also much harder to read. Try reading a whole page in allcaps and you'd soon give up. If you do a search for nettiquette (I hope I've spelt that right), you can find out a whole lot more.

there's a netiquette (sp?) section in Immediate Help. (which I should probably go back and read lol)

ok, well, sorry then. I am actually used to reading stuff in all caps....it's normal to me.... but yeah, anyways....i lost a guppy about five days after they were born, but the seven left have grown alot and are doing well, they seem to be very dark in color....their mother is dark colored. I still can't tell the gender though.
