I really would not suggest putting any pregnant fish into one of those boxes.  The odd one does cope well with them, but really, it's terrible for the fish, and some will get so upset that they kill themselves in their fight to be free.  Even if they are calm, it's not a great place for them to be.

Leave your girl out in the main tank.  If you have a guppy, she's not going to lay eggs... she'll give birth to live fish... tiny little baby guppies!  Just make sure you have plants for the babies to hide in... a plant called java moss works really well for that.. and that you feed your fish well, and they should leave the babies alone.  Really, it's the best way if you can't afford to have a tank for the babies.

If you don't have a guppy, I can't help ya.. livebearers are my thing.
