My response to your previous diary will answer (none / 0) (#1)

your question. (I was wondering what you are doing posting to Guppylong this time on Monday and then realized it probably is a President's Day off for your school.)

As was mentioned to your log submission, before it was deleted yesterday, you really need to look at some of the other diaries and logs from the last two weeks. That has been mentioned a couple of times. Checking topics like pregnancy and fry in the Quicklinks can be useful too. While you are looking for gestation periods, you will learn a lot of the other things useful in raising fry.

That your Dad is an experienced aquarist, is also a terrific advantage for you. Most dads are thrilled when their daughters (or sons) express an interest in something which is also one of their hobbies. So you have a wonderful resource in him.

Some of my fondest memories with my son and daughter are of baseballs and softballs being thrown back and forth in the street. We also had fun messing around in the fish room. They were picking killifish eggs (the large lineatus/ golden wonder eggs) before they were three. They were also gently catching stuff, by hand, which we would enter in shows, when they were an elderly 4 or 5. :)

All the best!
u.s.

barefoot, 2 miles through the snow, up hill both ways, without winter clothing, but with wolverines snapping at our heels. ;)

We got to ride our "pushies" (bikes) through wild tropical downpours that mostly started as the last bell went. It was even better if that tropical downpour occurred on your way to school as raincoats were totally ineffective so you'd be drenched on arrival. The teacher would then send you home to get dry ;)
