I am so, so, so sorry to hear about the loss..
This is what I talk about happening when a fish dies, that the owner blames him/her self for its, there deaths, thinking that It was something that they had done wrong, when it was the fish itself that set them up for failure.
The aquariast can be the most bestest(lol) one in the world, but given a sick fish, and that person will loose. Thats my biggest reason for wanting to start breeding good quality guppies, so that I can supply the places with good, healthy fish, that wont die on the owner.
Just what ever you do, dont give up. Expecially now that you have fry, What I noticed about fry is that they normally come out disease free and the sins of the mother/father rarely pass on to the children. This is where you will really test yourself as a fish keeper, Having fish that you raised from birth, and hopefully will raise a few of there kids..
Just dont let the deaths take you down that dark path of giving up. When I first read that your Shela had died I felt like bagging 2 of my favorite fish and sending them out to you asap. I just cant stand to see another Guppylogger quit or give up on this wounderfull hobby.
