I'm sorry to hear about your issues.  It does get very frustrating.  The first thing I would recommend in the future is to NEVER put any passive fish such as guppies or mollies in a tank with tiger barbs.  I've seen them in action, and it's not pretty, especially if there are only a few.  Sure, the more you have the less likely they will pick at others outside their clan, but I wouldn't trust them.

What do you mean exactly by blisters?  I had a balloon molly once that for some reason acquired a clear bubble on top of it's head.  It never moved and could not be cured.  He lived for a while with it but unfortunately did pass but I'm not sure of what.  No other fish showed signs of this either before or after quarantining.
