Where do you have your tank? maybe its not aggreable for the fish, therfore making them more acceptable?

I'm sorry to hear you're having the same sorts of problems... it's been so expensive and depressing.
I have one *beautiful* fry and that's the only reason I'm still dealing with my tanks atm.

(Does anyone know how to photo a fish???)

My tanks are in the lower level of the house, which does have a bit of temp difference, but I've never seen it go down more than a degree or two, as I regulate it very closely.
I live in the lower, semi-basement level, so that's where I keep my tank.  I have windows and ventilation and am not entirely underground, and I do regulate temp and humidity as best as I can.

One of my fish just developed a nice mouth and crown fungus (columnaris) and I treated it successfully so far.  But no new fish were added, and she just got it.
I'm starting to believe that might be related to temperature changes...
