An interesting question Stephanie. I wanted to (none / 0) (#3)
by unclescott on Wed Sep 15, 2004 at 08:31:41 AM PST

post a log to this subject anyway, but other responsibilities have been pressing.

Did start a response. After a few paragraphs, I discovered that someone cleaned up around here and I can't find a couple of sources and disks. Will try to get back with a better response tomorrow or Friday.

I think some of us will be surprised by a couple of the answers. ;)

Maybe I'll get done sooner if this log gets some votes. :)

All the best!

Hi Stephanie,

I don't believe that male guppies will mate with female swordtails, or others.
I could be wrong though.

I have read that swordtails will sometimes breed with platys.  That's how some of the more unusual colored swordtails have occured.

Are you going to try this, or just looking for info?

Let us know, OK??
