Re: Catfish died (none / 0) (#4)

Oh my, wonder what I've done wrong this time - I can't get the following into a reply to us so I'm trying it here. <laughing at myself>

I put the catfish in a bowl (clean, no soaps etc. and only used for the fish for weeks, this is how I've been moving the guppies into tank 2) and then take 1 ladle full of water at a time from the tank and add it to the bowl. I do this over an hour but then I released the fish into the tank from the bowl without discarding the water. I only read about that after I bought the catfish - about 2 hours later actually :(

I didn't actually see the catfish eat any of the worms - never had a chance with the gupps all in their, none got to the bottom but I know the flake and granule food gets to the bottom.

Speaking of library - there were only 2 books on tropical fish in the whole library but I can ask them to get particular books in - told you it is  a small town :-)

Off to browse the cory link - ta muchly, then will make the charcoal bag.
