not crazy actin (none / 0) (#5)

They dart around but not in a crazy manner. They act very calm and swim normally, but one will flash around then swim normally with the rest.  The left over food was a problem at the starts but now they are big enough to eat almost all of it, and what they don't finish my algae eater gets.  I have also seen the fry picking around the gravel also.   thanks a lot guys for your help

I have the same problem. The bellies look out of place on my fry, but I had a friend of mine who is an aquarium guy and sells them for a living said to me they look really healthy. Like you I thought I was overfeeding them and the algae eater got the rest, but he told me they will only eat what they want. Just make sure it is not too much at once. I feed mine twice a day or 3 times if i have the time. The more times i feed them the less amount i put in. GOOD LUCK
