Guppybunny-Much like many of the over-the-counter cold remedies, guppy sperm is a time release "medication".  Once pregnant, the female is always pregnant so no need to have her in with a male in order for her to drop fry again. 'Tis much better to put her in a tank of her own than to use a breeding trap.  --Or better yet, take all the other fish out.  --and better yet, as has already been noted, just keep some plants (or other hiding places) in your tank. Many of the floating plants are great for this.
On a related note, some lines of guppies are prone to eating their young, others are not. It's been my experience that most lines will eat the first 4-5-6 fry and then, having a full tummy, leave the remainder alone.
