I'm using a 2.5 gal quarrantine tank (none / 0) (#5)

so I am using the smallest amount possible, which is 1/4 piece of the tablet. I've used it in the past when I suspected parasites in the tank. I also have CopperSafe which is also for external parasites. The only ingredient listed on the bottle is Chelated Copper Sulfate. My local LFS stated that they normally use CopperSafe in their tanks rather than the Parasite Clear, especially since as long as the carbon filter is not brand new, you do not have to remove when using. I may do a water change, add the filter back, wait a day or two and then try the CopperSafe.
