I have a few fry from December and November that were bright yellow and are nearly full grown. They're just yellow gupps. They may even develop some more coloring in their tails, mine did. Mine ended up with red and white on their tails, yellow bodies. Don't worry, yours should be fine.

their heads and bodies, not the clear tail behind the innards, is turning orangish on all of them. their tail fins are beginning to broaden out more and you can see them easier now. anal and dorsal fins are seen easier as well and I think I can tell the boys from the girls. boys from behind-( ) girls from behind-( )

As afar as sexing. The males don't have the pronounced anal fin, their ...fins and gonodpodium are definitely pointy (for lack of a better term for the middle of the week). You can google the anatomy of the guppy and they will show the the difference up close. I tried it and got a few pix and drawings, pretty cut and dry. Some of my females are two months old and are finally getting the tail end of their color. Surprisingly, they look better than the store bought females, which from what I understand, is odd for a first batch. I think I just got lucky(hah! That's a first.)
