gallons of that are only 50 some cents. so it doesn't get too expensive. besides they are worth it.

than what I pay, even after factoring in the cost of the unit. I make RO water at about 2 to 5 cents a gallon, depending.

you say you make water alot cheaper than lets say 20cents a gallon here. but is the filter on 24/7, would is waste alot of electricity, i don't think my parents would want me to buy another electrical equipment, especially when i have no where to connect anything anymore, but if its good for drinking water then maybe i can convince them and i buy it for them. but how do they work.

Where does Electricity come into it??!? I spent $5 on a 'y' hose splitter and $1 on a sink adaptor, and when I turn on the water, RO water comes out of the blue hose. :-)

lol, sorry, didn't know they didn't run of electricity, so hwo are they powered, or they're not powered????

tap water. Other than the addition of chlorine and ammonia by your water department, is there anything else which would not recommend it?
