Female guppies in the Northeast,,, | 6 comments (5 topical, 1 editorial, 0 hidden)
Last June I started losing my female guppies (none / 0) (#4)

the same way. None of the usual treatments worked, so at a loss I went to my local LFS. The guy there got out a fish disease encyclopaedia, and we spent some time looking for what could be causing my problems.
What we found was simply listed as guppy disease, and it stated that only female guppies are affected by this. Unfortunately I lost all of my females rather quickly. My three males however also died after I moved them to a Q tank just in case. They didn't show any symptoms, and I think it was more the stress and the hurriedly set up tank that killed them.
