My friend has a bunch of tiger barbs and they almost killed 4 long finned tetras and they were in a 55 gal tank.  They are schoolling fish and they need like 5 or more of their kind to be happy.  At least, that's how my friend's barbs were like.  They were cool when there were a bunch of them together.
